Dave's Noodles
Our very first client — a Hobart noodle bar whose site we've run for eight years and recently rebuilt from scratch.
The brief
Dave's Noodles was the very first website Binary Top ever shipped. The original served the business for years — but the web moved on, and it was time for a ground-up rebuild that kept everything that worked and modernised everything that didn't.
What we built
We rebuilt the site as a fast Nuxt front end on a Craft CMS back end, where the owners manage the menu and content. Each branch's location and opening hours come live from Google Maps — including the real-time “open now / closes in” status — so there's nothing to keep in sync on the site: to change hours or close for a holiday, they just update Google Maps and the website follows. The design leans into what makes the place special — fresh, fast, flavourful noodles, and a kitchen where you can watch the chef cook your meal in real time.
The result
Eight years on, it's still going — and still pulling thousands of organic clicks a month. The longest client relationship we have, and a reminder that a well-built site keeps earning for years.
